Sean Brady is a former Canadian diplomat. He had received a BA Hons. degree from the University of Toronto in Modern History and an MA in Chinese and Southeast Asian studies from Cornell University before entering the Canadian Government in 1970. He then served in Hong Kong, Bangkok, New York and Singapore with the then Canadian Department of External Affais. He was the Official Spokesman for the Canadian Department of External Affairs (1984-86, High Commissioner to Singapore (1986-89) and non-resident High Commissioner to Brunei (1988-89. He then entered the private sector in Thailand in mid-1989 and set up his consulting/representation company, Pac Rim International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. After serving as President of the Thai-Canadian Business Club from January 1990, he became the Founding President of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) in 1991. He served several terms as TCCC President and as a Director of the Thai Board of Trade. From 1989 until 2012,Pac Rim International represented and/or provided consulting services to a wide range of international clients seeking to do business in Thailand and ASEAN. These included the Canada-ASEAN Centre, the International Trade Departments of the Provinces of Ontario and British Columbia, H.A. Simons, Bombardier Mass Transit, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Bombardier Amphibious, Bell Helicopter Textron (Fort Worth, Texas), National Power UK, Bell Canada Enterprises, Wescam/L3, Paxport Airport Development, Black Clausen, Commonwealth Construction etc. In 2013 Sean Brady became one of the Founding Partners of XPC Cross Pacific Connections Limited, a multi-disciplinary consulting company based in Thailand. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Bangkok South (RCBS), Thailand's largest Rotary Club, and continues to be engaged in community service activities both through RCBS and with his wife, Premsiri Devahastin, a former senior airline executive. He is a member of the Royal Bangkok Sports Clubs and of several golf courses.
